To celebrate the WRC Safari Rally’s return to East Africa, QG Group executed a high-impact, multi-country media campaign across Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania. The strategy aimed to amplify awareness, drive fan engagement, and position the rally as a regional celebration of speed, tourism, and brand partnerships.
Through an integrated mix of radio, digital, outdoor, and influencer-led activations, the campaign built strong reach and top-of-mind visibility across key media, including Capital FM, CBS, Wasafi, and Clouds FM.
In Uganda, excitement was driven through flag-off events, branded ambassador buses, and large-format digital screens in Kampala, Jinja, and Entebbe. In Tanzania and Rwanda, localized radio endorsements, press coverage, and influencer content brought the Safari Rally closer to fans, celebrating the region’s shared passion for motorsport. Despite tight timelines, the campaign achieved exceptional regional visibility and successfully united East African audiences under one thrilling rally experience.
